Has Bison Solutions or Mani Khaghani lost its/his House?
As of September 2019, Mani Khaghani and Bison Solutions have not yet lost their house. According to a recent property search, ownership has not changed. However, Unit #61 has sold recently for $267,500.
If we assume he were able to obtain what Unit #61 sold for, for his Unit #5: he would have lost $92,000 in his home from the former listed high of $359,000. Likely for this reason of lack of equity, the bank has not foreclosed on his home yet, and many creditors have been on the sidelines about suing him and Bison Solutions.
Mani Khaghani and Bison Solutions: CRA Debt, Unpaid Workers, Extravagant Lawyer Spending
Mani Khaghani and Bison Solutions were known to struggle with mortgage payments as they were spending tens of thousands, if not, hundreds of thousands in legal fees to not pay people. They were known to owe CRA over $200,000 in unpaid payroll deductions, GST, income taxes, and penalties as of June 2019. Over $30,000 of legal fees was spent between June – November 2019 to prevent one former worker alone from obtaining his unpaid wages. Irrational? Yes. Bison Solutions and Mani Khaghani have been known to do business based on emotion rather than rationale. Do business with them at your own risk.
Mani Khaghani & Bison Solutions Acts of Bankruptcy
Mani Khaghani changed his ownership of Bison Solutions over to Yasmin Ayatollahi in approximately February 2019, also making her the director of Bison Solutions instead. This was done to avoid creditor suspicion because of his history of non-payment to creditors, also consequently making her a new target for legal action involving Bison Solutions. His home at #5 2051 Towne Centre Blvd. in Edmonton is one of the last assets last known to remain under his ownership.
Mani Khaghani has moved his family and himself to another nearby location to avoid detection – likely to avoid service of court documents and other creditor litigation. This last known residence of his at #5 2051 Towne Centre Blvd. in Edmonton has been utilized as Bison Solutions staff housing.
We advise hiring an experienced, aggressive (but legal) process server if you sue Mani Khaghani and/or Bison Solutions for unpaid money. He can be dangerous and has been charged for assaulting an unpaid employee in the past. He has historically shown open aggression around his employees and vendors, especially the unpaid.
